The World is the card of happy completion. A cycle closes in a meaningful way and everything you've learned finally falls into place.
What The World means
The World is arcanum XXI and closes the journey of the Major Arcana. It speaks of fulfillment, goals achieved and the rare feeling of being in the right place.
In a spread, it announces that something is coming to completion: a course, a house, a relationship made official, a project that reaches a happy ending. It also speaks of travel and connections abroad.
It's a card of ending and beginning at the same time: when one cycle closes well, the next one opens on its own.
The card image
A figure dances inside a laurel wreath, with four creatures watching from the corners. The wreath is achievement; the dance is the lightness of someone who has arrived; the four creatures are the forces of life in balance.
The World in love
In love, it speaks of complete, committed relationships: living together, getting married, starting a family. If you're single, it says your cycle of being alone is coming to an end. In reconciliations, it shows closure — on good terms, with understanding.
What do they feel for me? The World in feelings
For “what do they feel for me?”, The World shows a wholehearted feeling. This person feels complete with you and sees you as part of their future. There are no hidden doubts; there's a desire to build something together.
The World at work
At work, it points to projects being completed, final recognition, contracts signed. It favors international work, travel and fields connected to other countries.
The World and money
In finances, stability achieved and goals reached. A good moment to close out accounts and set new goals.
The World reversed
Reversed, it speaks of cycles that won't close, unmet goals or delays at the end of a process. You're almost there — usually, what's missing is one step you keep putting off.
